Parent-Teacher Meet 2026
The Department of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, organized a Parent-Teacher Meet for First Year BCA students on 3rd MAY 2026.
The meeting gave parents and teachers an opportunity to discuss the students’ academic performance, attendance, and overall progress. Faculty members also shared information about departmental activities, skill development programs, and future learning opportunities. The interaction helped strengthen the relationship between parents and the department. The department expresses its gratitude to all parents for their enthusiastic participation and continued encouragement in supporting the students’ academic and professional growth.
VENCER 2K25 – A National Level Techno-Cultural Fest
Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized VENCER 2K25, a National Level Techno-Cultural Fest. The BCA Department actively organized events such as Gaming, Technical Quiz, Debate, Face Painting, and Coding Challenge, which received enthusiastic participation from students of various colleges. The department also won the Best Department Decoration Award, appreciating the creativity, teamwork, and dedicated efforts of the BCA students and faculty members. The fest provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their talents, interact with peers, and enhance their technical, creative, and communication skills.
Industry Expert Talk - Cyber Security Demystified: Attacks, defence & Career Pathways
Cyber Security Demystified: Attacks, defence & Career Pathways for BCA 1st and 3rd Semester Students on 18th FEB 2026.
The session was conducted by Dhiraj Joshi from Optiv. He introduced students to the fundamentals of cyber security, common types of cyber attacks, and the defence mechanisms used to protect digital systems and data. Participants learnt about the importance of cyber security in today’s digital world and explored various career opportunities in this field. The session also guided students on the essential skills required to build a successful career in cyber security.
BCA Department Association Inaugural & TECHNOTSAV 2K25
The Department of BCA, Angadi Institute of Technology & Management, Belagavi, organized the Inaugural Function of the BCA Students Association 2025–26 along with TECHNOTSAV 2K25 on 10th DEC 2025.
The event was graced by Mr. Bhushan Dongare, Co-Founder of Zeel Code Labs, as the Chief Guest and Dr. Kiran Potadar, HOD of Mathematics and First Year Coordinator, as the Guest of Honor. The program was presided over by Prof. Prakash Deshpande, HOD, BCA.
The Chief Guest motivated students to explore emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and IoT, and highlighted the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, making the celebration a successful and memorable occasion.
Importance of LinkedIn Profile for BCA 1st Semester Students on 06 June 2025
The session on conducted by MCA students of AITM. Students learnt how to create a professional profile, build a strong network, and leverage LinkedIn to explore job opportunities, internships, and industry trends. This event has guided students on how to showcase their skills, achievements, and projects effectively to attract recruiters and connect with professionals in the tech world.
Importance of Git and GitHub for BCA 1st Semester Students on 06 June 2025
The session on conducted by MCA students of AITM. They introduced students to Git, a powerful version control system, and GitHub, a popular platform for hosting and sharing code. Participants learnt how these tools support collaboration, enable project tracking, and help build a strong coding portfolio.
Pratibha Puraskar BCA 1st Semester 2024–25 on 19 May 2025
The Department of Bachelor of Computer Applications organized “Pratibha Puraskar”, a student felicitation ceremony to acknowledge and celebrate the academic excellence of BCA 1st Semester students (2024–25 batch) on 19th MAY 2025 in the Seminar Hall 1. The event aimed to motivate students by recognizing outstanding academic performers and encouraging a culture of merit and dedication. The program commenced with a welcome address by the Prof. Prakash Deshpande, Head of the Department, followed by a brief note on the significance of academic recognition. Students expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing how such events boost motivation. They appreciated the teaching methodology and timely academic support provided by the faculty.

The session was organized by Academy of Comparative Philosophy & Religion (ACPR), Belagavi on 25th April 2025 in ACPR Gurudev Ranade Mandir Auditorium, Hindwadi, Belagavi.
